16th October

World  Food  Day

"Right to foods for a better life

                                               and a better future."

Students from classes 7thA, 7thB, 8thA, 8thB & 9thA shared

their opinions on how they feel worried with this issue

(some people have enough meals per day and other people

do not have enough or even have nothing to eat) and gave

ideas to take action in order to promote healthy diets,

to avoid waste  and eradicate hunger.

Have a look at the padlet HERE and read their thoughts and opinions.

Congrats dear students. 🤗

 CURIOSITIES

1st October 2024

Do you know that ...?

On this date, 1st October,  people celebrate

International Music Day,

International Day of Older Persons

and

World Ballet Day,    among other observances.

In 2024, "Harmony Across Cultures" is the theme of International Music Day.

This year's theme emphasises music's role in connecting different cultures and creating a more harmonious world.

Through music, we can appreciate diversity and strengthen ties that bring humanity closer together.

This date was established by the UNESCO in 1975,  to celebrate the diverse expressions and global significance of music.
