In order to celebrate the Europe Day on 9th May I asked my 9th grade students to write about one of the countries that belongs to the European Union.

Remember that you need to write a short introduction about Europe and then enlighten us about the country you've chosen.

I'm sure you are going to do well!

Europe

"On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman, the first President of the European Parliamentary Assembly, presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe, indispensable to the maintenance of peaceful relations. This proposal, known as the 'Schuman declaration', is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union. Today, 9 May has become Europe Day, which is the occasion for activities and festivities that bring Europe closer to its citizens and the peoples of the Union closer to one another." (Internet)

This is a very simple questionnaire about the topic "Predicting the future"

It is for my class 8th C.

Dear students, it is a voluntary task but I'm looking forward for your answers.

Please answer it in order to have an idea of your opinion about LUCK and FUTURE.

Thanks

WORLD VOICE DAY April 16th

I didn't know there was a World Voice Day until today.
I was watching the news on TV when they mentioned it. The aim is to demonstrate the enormous importance of the voice in our daily life.

As teachers we should pay attention and take care of our tool of communication.

Here are some tips.

"Global Warming"

Este tem sido um tema ultimamente abordado nas aulas de 7º ano.
É preocupante a questão do ar que respiramos, da importância da alimentação saudável e orgânica, das espécies em vias de extinção, ...

"If one species is endangered, then all species are endangered."

Well, I've chosen the kangaroo. Australia is famous for its kangaroos, but this species of small kangaroo is facing extinction. There are only 500 left because of overhunting.
This is a bridled nail-tailed wallaby and it lives only in Taunton National Park, Queensland, Australia.

They're so lovely!

English is fun!

"The Beatles" is one of my favourite bands.

The project "Reviver os anos 60" (school project in EBHC) is related to this kind of music.

Listen to this song and enjoy it!
