My dearest
9th grade
 students
Classes are over and new days are coming.
Some of you are taking different paths and
won't probably see each other so often
BUT ... remember that friends are forever and there's no distance!
"A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow." by William Shakespeare
And this is one of my favourite songs with an incredible lyrics. Enjoy it.

D-DAY - 65 YEARS AGO -

JUNE 6, 1944

Do you know that...

"On June 6 1944 British, Canadian and American troops stormed the beaches of France to establish a grip on fortress Europe. The largest armada the world had ever seen began a bitter assault against a determined enemy. It was the first step to the liberation of Nazi occupied Europe and the 5th year of the war. A war which claimed millions of lives both civilian and military. The British alone suffered almost 400,000 deaths according to some estimates."
