English is fun!

In order to celebrate the Europe Day on 9th May I asked my 9th grade students to write about one of the countries that belongs to the European Union. 

Remember that you need to write a short introduction about Europe and then enlighten us about the country you've chosen.

"On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman, the first President of the European Parliamentary Assembly, presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe, indispensable to the maintenance of peaceful relations. This proposal, known as the 'Schuman declaration', is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union.
